April's Fool
Poor [info]isis2222 and hundreds of others became victims of [info]lj_serialadder... He added me too, but he's so lame, he couldn't change anything in the foreign language interface... :-) See:

No stalking/stalked by. :-D
As today is the 1st of April, I'm sure this "attack" is only meant as a joke, however annoying it might be.

UPDATE: Yes, it was a prank played by the LJ staff...
BTW, my friends on the tolkien.hu forum are just beginning to go crazy... In the afternoon, there were news about a 5th CD with Arwen's cut scenes as an extra for RotK EE, and that there will be subtitles written with tengwar available too... But now the word censors of the forum engine are modified so that e.g. every time someone writes "Tolkien", it automatically appears as "Toto the dog"... instead of "Long Expected Party" (which was a major event of our Tolkien Society in January), there's a "Britney Spears concert" and our Summer Camp has just turned into a Harry Potter camp, and so on... :-D

He got me too. I think it's cute, I mean, what harm can he do?
Some people are saying that it is LJ playing a joke?

Thanks! (re: my icon!)

Take a look at the post in my LJ and go look at the 174+ pages of comments in lj_serialadder's one and only post. LOL!!! Somewehere on several pages that I skimmed, someone had reporeted him to LJ and the note they got back told them to relax, that it's all in fun for today.

I've already gotten one negative reply to my post. *sigh*

Yes, I know that there have been people on LJ that were really stalked, but sheesh ....

Lol, people are just so unbelievably moronic at times! I mean, 'LJ-Stalkers', how can a person honestly find them such a buisance?

Hello! You have no idea who I am! Yay!

What a way to start a comment. >_> I stumbled upon your lovely journal... somehow, LOL. I don't know how exactly. But all of that aside, I want to drop down to my knees and worship the ground that you walk on, if that's not too much trouble for you. ;-) I just wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, danke, gracias, merci, grazie.... I'm sure I'll think of more languages later, LOL. But I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my icon folder for all of the EXCELLENT caps, and to say that I hope that more are on the way :-D. You're my hero! *swoon!* Hehehe.

Subject: The Universal National Service Act of 2003 S89/HR 163

This is outside our jurisdiction, but thought you might like to know
about
it, since it will affect students.

The bills above are to reinstate the draft beginning June 2005 (AFTER
the
Presidential election). From the information I've read, it states "all
young
persons in the United States, inlcuding women, perform a period of
military
service or a period of civilian service in furtherance of the national
defense and homeland security, and for other purposes."

"Summary as of 1/7/2003: Declares that it is the obligation of every
U.S.
citizen, and every other person residing in the United States, between
the
ages of 18 and 26 to perform a two-year period of national service,
unless
expempted, either as a member of an active or reserve component of the
armed
forces or in a civilian capacity that promotes national defense.
Requires
induction into national service by the President. Sets forth provisions
governing: (1) induction deferments, postponements, and exemptions,
including training; and (2) discharge following national service.
Amends the
Military Selective Service Act to authorize the military registration
of
females."

Educational deferrments are not allowed.

I've also read that an agreement has already been made with Canada NOT
to
allow Americans to seek refuge in their country.

Status:
1/7/2003 Referred to the House Committee on Armed Services
2/3/2003 Executive Comment Requested from DOD
2/3/2003 Referred to the Subcommittee on Total Force.
