There's a screencap page that one of my friends, Luine found... They have lots of caps from movies of the LotR cast and other actors, but there's one page I'm especially thankful for: Russian Doll screencaps *dies*
EDIT: The site above is part of myth_adventure's site, praise her with great praise!

So, as I promised, here are the interviews with the LotR cast and PJ. They speak about the RotK movie, their roles and about PJ. The videos are subtitled in Japanese, because these are from the same Japanese site as the behind-the-scenes videos I posted last time.
( 17 RotK video interviews under cut )

Today one of David Wenham's films, Better than Sex will be shown at the Australian Film Festival in Budapest... And next week, The Bank will be shown too. These are otherwise unavailable in Hungary... And because I live 200km from Budapest, I won't be able to see them... :-( *hits her head to the wall repeatedly*

Poor isis2222 and hundreds of others became victims of lj_serialadder... He added me too, but he's so lame, he couldn't change anything in the foreign language interface... :-) See:
No stalking/stalked by. :-D As today is the 1st of April, I'm sure this "attack" is only meant as a joke, however annoying it might be.
UPDATE: Yes, it was a prank played by the LJ staff... BTW, my friends on the tolkien.hu forum are just beginning to go crazy... In the afternoon, there were news about a 5th CD with Arwen's cut scenes as an extra for RotK EE, and that there will be subtitles written with tengwar available too... But now the word censors of the forum engine are modified so that e.g. every time someone writes "Tolkien", it automatically appears as "Toto the dog"... instead of "Long Expected Party" (which was a major event of our Tolkien Society in January), there's a "Britney Spears concert" and our Summer Camp has just turned into a Harry Potter camp, and so on... :-D

| RotK behind-the-scenes video clips |

All these clips originally came from theater.nifty.com (in February, actually), but there they were streaming media. They feature raw behind-the-scenes material from the filming of RotK. "Raw" means no music, no commentary, nothing. Actually, you can better hear the creaking of the camera than what the actors say. But I think they are very interesting, because they are several minutes long each, and the official "Making of" clips only show glimpses of this kind of stuff...
( More under cut )
I have some (17, to be exact) video interviews with the actors and PJ too, from the same source. With Japanese subtitles. ;-) Maybe I'll post those too. *wondering how much bandwidth I might have at my website... but having no idea...*

The main server of my favourite Russian site is finally back online. :-) I keep saying that it is like a treasure chest... They have everything a Tolkien-fan could ever dream of. (I think I'm repeating myself...) But they have music (not only the soundtracks but much more, like the Tolkien Ensemble, The Starlit Jewel, etc.), they have all the computer games, and the movies (even the animated ones), audio and video documentaries, even the famous BBC radio drama, etc... And some Harry Potter and C.S. Lewis stuff too. I'm currently downloading the first episode of the old Narnia movies, which I've last seen as a child... :-D If someone is interested, I'll give you the url and the method of downloading from there, as it is not that easy - in email. My address is sil@tolkien.hu ;-) (Don't worry, the site itself is in English, I can't speak Russian, either.)

| The program ;-) |
[26 Mar 2004|12:17am] |
Some of you have asked which program I use for capping, and I told you it was a really simple one. So, here it is: Right click and save... ;-) You only need this little file (only 225kb), and don't even have to install it. Just run it (it'll complain about a missing readme file, but that was in Hungarian, and didn't say anything important). Open the video file you want (with this program), and you can start capping, it's really easy. Stop at the frame you want, and save it (it will be a .jpg pic).
Before you run this program, however, I suggest to close certain other applications. For example, if you have QuickTime as a tray icon, close it (and all the other video players currently running, because they can interfere with this program).
It can be used with .wmv files too, you only have to switch to displaying "all files" when opening a video. There can be some glitches though, if you try to open several wmv files after each other: e.g. sometimes the capping doesn't work so. When this happens, close the program, and then open it again. You may have to reset the computer, too.
